新規事業の立ち上げを支援する企業のオフィス。オフィスは外で戦ってきた社員が安らぐことのできる環境であるべき、という代表の創業時からの理念のもと、すべて上足空間とすること、フリーアドレス制にすることの2 点が求められた。

場所は1960 年代に建てられたオフィスビルの一角で、等間隔に柱が並ぶいわゆるオフィス空間である。上足の空間であることを活かし、オフィスの中央に柱梁のグリッドを横断する舞台のような上げ床を設けることで、人の居場所を椅子の配置で規定するのではなく、段差が椅子や通路、プレゼンテーションの客席やステージとなるなど、1日の中でも流動的に使われ方が変化する。通りすがりにふと隣に腰掛けたり、２、３人の集まりがいつの間にか10 人20 人に膨れたり、死角にひっそり隠れたりと、人とのかかわり方と居場所の見つけ方が連動しながらおおらかに全体をつくる、そんなオフィスを目指した。

This is an office of a company that supports new business start-ups. Based on the representative's philosophy that the office should be an environment where employees who have fought outside can feel at ease, the office was required that all the spaces should be used without wearing shoes and to have a free-address system.

The location is a corner of an office building built in the 1960s, a so-called office space with evenly spaced columns. By adding a raised floor across a grid of columns and beams, the use of the space changes fluidly throughout the day- steps becoming chairs, aisles,or seatings for presentations, rather than being defined by the arrangement of chairs. The aim was to create an office where the way people interact with each other and find a place to be is linked to create a whole mood.
